PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION

Online counseling (TelePsychology) appointments are available via my client portal using a secure, encrypted, and HIPAA compliant web-based audio/video chat. In most instances, health insurance plans cover TelePsychology counseling.

Dr. Lucas provides individual counseling for adults facing a variety of concerns, including problems with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, work and/or school related concerns, sexual orientation, destructive behavior, coping with physical illness, and HIV/AIDS concerns among others.

Counseling can help you gain insight into your problems and can help you learn new coping strategies:  When you are stuck and nothing you do seems to resolve your problems. When your behavior is causing physical or emotional harm to yourself or those you love. When you are not enjoying life like you used to. When you feel you have no one who cares about you. When you feel hopeless about the future. When you can't seem to make your relationships work. When you worry all the time. When you're angry. When you're stressed or overwhelmed. When you're sad and you don't know why. When you're not getting the things you want out of life.
